The threat of war with Hizbullah is a constant one for Israel, and the IDF is compelled to remain in tune to Hizbullah’s activities vis-à-vis its arch enemy, Israel. Senior military commanders are well aware of this threat, which is compounded at present with the ongoing civil war in Syria and efforts to move non conventional weapons from Syria to Hizbullah. If such efforts succeed chas v’sholom, it would significantly shift the balance of power that exists today.

The following video cleared for released by the IDF shows some of the ongoing training operations. It shows the Sayeret Egoz soldiers, an elite unit in the Golani Brigade training for such an eventuality. The video was first aired on Channel 10 TV News:
