Purim in Yerushalayim and many chareidi areas is most unique, a day like none other; but for members of Israel’s secular community, it provides an opportunity to gain a look inside the areas which are often off limits to outsiders.
Non-frum groups do visit frum areas year round, but some simply are closed to outsiders. Such is the case in Meah Shearim and Geula for example. When the groups arrive they are often confronted by youths, sikrikim and/or others, and Purim may provide a temporary pass to these areas.
According to a Ladaat report, there are a number of Jerusalem hotels offering special Purim packages targeting the non-frum community; packages that include a Purim dress up as chareidim and a visit to chareidi areas in Purim garb. It could get interesting.

Purim is the absolute worst time of the year for the non-frum to visit. Because too many drunk Chareidim are behaving like behemos in the streets. How terribly unfortunate that this will be the lasting impression people will have of the Chareidi population.
hmm it still won’t be as bad as Tel Aviv every single night
