Shas’ Aryeh Deri met on Sunday 7 Adar 5773 with Bayit HaYehudi leader Naftali Bennett as the chareidi party continues efforts to bring Bennett on board.

In addition, Interior Minister (Shas) Eli Yishai has been meeting with Bayit Yehudi representatives as part of his effort to break the union between Bennett and the Yesh Atid party towards persuading Bennett to agree to forming a religious bloc with Shas and Yahadut Hatorah.

On his Facebook Page Bennett has not mentioned anything regarding coalition talks despite increasing pressure to reach agreement with Likud/Beitenu negotiators. Bennett on Sunday did mention the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu.
