An appeal filed with a Belgium court by the Belz chassidus against Moshe Aryeh Friedman was successful and the Neturei Karta-affiliated chossid may not send his boys to a Belz girl’s school as was ruled by a lower court.
Friedman’s activities often are ammunition for the media, and this case against Belz was covered by the secular media, spreading the chilul Hashem far and wide.
Friedman’s unacceptable hashkafa and lifestyle have resulted in his being ousted by the tzibur and he has not been able to find a frum school willing to accept his children. This prompted his case to the secular courts, claiming that since the Belz yeshiva receives government funding his boys must be permitted to attend. The court ruled in his favor.

This was a nuisance lawsuit. Nothing more. If he wanted to, he could home school his children. You are making too much out of a dumb publicity stunt.

No one believes that the Israeli government is the moshiach; we know it has its good and bad components. But to make a life style on the principle of hating the ‘zionist’ government, which is not even a mitzvah from the rabbi and thereby perverting young and tender children by sending them to a religious girls school? this is a disgust!
The father should undergo therapy to learn to live and let live and that children’s welfare are more important that political points in the zionist/anti-zionist theater.

this is a wake up call to all of us chreidim. it shows that to some extent we are guilty of bad hashkafa too. all jews are connected, if we improve our inconsistencies, so will other jews.
He should send his kids to a madrassah, where they will learn his true torah hashkafos. And will not be subjected to girls.
