Lebanese officials are denying reports of an Israel Air Force attack in that country during the night, the state-run NNA News Agency reports.
The French AFP Agency reports that the attack took place in Syria, not Lebanon, as reported earlier by YWN-ISRAEL.
Israel’s Channel 2 News quoting “foreign sources” reports that the convoy was moving anti aircraft rockets from Syria to Hizbullah in Lebanon in all likelihood, or even possibly chemical weapons.
Channel 2’s military correspondent Nir Divori stated that it appears that some of the weapons being transported in the convoy were “extremely advanced”.
