It began with the deployment of a Patriot battery in Haifa, followed by reports of an Israel Air Force air space violation over S. Lebanon, culminating with reports of an IDF attack along the Lebanese/Syrian border during the night.

A Western diplomat security added on Wednesday “Israeli forces have attacked a target on the Syrian-Lebanese border overnight.”
The incident comes hours after a warning was heard from Israel Air Force Commander Major-General Amir Eshel, who spoke of the growing threat from Syria’s chemical weapons and the possibility of the IDF having to respond to neutralize that threat.
