The price of a liter of 95 octane self-service gasoline will be increasing in Israel this week on 21 Shevat 5773 (Thursday night to Friday morning) by 10-15 agorot to 7.65 NIS a liter, the equivalent of $8.27/US gallon based on the exchange rate of $1/3.7 NIS. Full service prices will be higher, 7.70 NIS a liter.
Making things more difficult is the fact that the fuel increase is expected to result in a 5% hike in the price of electricity too.

Israel: Gas Prices Expected to Increase This Week
Yep – a clear sign that the elections are well and truly over. Increased gas prices will, of course, trigger corresponding increases in the prices of all other goods and services.
