When asked if Yair Lapid will replace him as foreign minister, Yisrael Beitenu leader Avigdor Lieberman responded “perhaps he will become finance minister,” the daily Yated Ne’eman reports.
Lieberman explained “Lapid’s main issues surround the economy, social economic issues, housing prices, the middle class, so it is natural that he would oversee the Finance Ministry.”
The former foreign minister added “The nation has voted for major change, and this is clear. This includes sharing the burden and addressing the housing crisis.”
When asked about the character of the newly-forming coalition, Lieberman added, “No one is pasul and for as they agree to the coalition guidelines they are invited to join.

I don’t think the article supports your headline. All I see here is Lieberman politicking for Lapid to get Finance so Lieberman can get Foreign. Where does it say Bibi will offer Lapid Finance?
And who had prior qualifications for Finance Minister?
