Series of important meeting between Chevrah Hatzalah and NYS State
officials were held in Albany.

Chevra Hatzalah (https://hatzalah.org/) is the largest all-volunteer Ambulance Service in the United States, providing premium quality pre-hospital emergency medical treatment and transportation at no cost to all who need it, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.

The purpose of these meetings was both to develop a close working relationship with members of the State legislature and brief them regarding the scope of Hatzalah’s reach into the communities that they represent and to provide an opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding for any future issues that may arise.
Private meetings were held with: Senator Marisol Alcantara of Manhattan who represents the neighborhoods of Chelsea, Clinton, Upper West Side, Inwood, Harlem, Washington Heights); Susan Grelick, Counsel and Legislative Director to NYS Senate Minority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and NYS Senate Majority Leader John J. Flanagan, Senators Simcha Felder, Martin Golden, Andrew Lanza, Elaine Phillips and Avi Fertig Special Assistant to the Majority Leader.
A very productive Meet-and-Greet was hosted by Assemblymember Helene Weinstein who chairs the powerful Ways and Means Committee that was attended by:
