Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat on Monday, 10 Shevat 5773 came out in support of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s reelection bid. During a joint visit to the Menachem Begin Heritage Center, the mayor thanks the prime minister for working to strengthen Yerushalayim with “unprecedented measures”.

Barkat added that he supports the prime minister and Likud/Beitenu list, adding “I want to see you leading Israel for another term.”

The prime minister commented, reaffirming his commitment to the capital, calling it “my city, our city”.

Mr. Netanyahu vowed “not to buckle under mounting international pressure and the government will continue building in Yerushalayim and throughout the State of Israel.”
