HaGaon HaChossid HaRav Chaim Sholom Deutsch, a prominent Chabad mashpiah announced “The rebbe ZT”L also instructed chassidim to vote for ‘the most chareidi party’ and today, without a doubt, that is Agudas Yisrael, Yahadut Hatorah.”
Rav Deutsch, Rosh Kollel Tzemach Tzedek adds that this particular election is critical towards the continuation of limud Torah in Eretz Yisrael. He added the rebbe specifically stated one must take part in elections and not remain on the sidelines, calling on his followers to vote Gimmel on Election Day.
HaMevaser adds there is a growing momentum among Chabad Chassidim to vote Gimmel in response to the threat of closing yeshivos and inducting bnei Torah into the IDF.

first of all all respect to rav deitsch..
and yes i know who he is..
chabad has gone extremely considerable lengths not to speak in the name of chabad about any party…. (even if bayit hayehudi went 5 times to rav ashkenazi) they got nothing substantial
soo to do so is incredulous!!!
next is rav deitsch has a shul of poilisher chassidim and is a very far cry from representing them or chabad specifically or generally.. he has no bearing or CONCENSUS within chabad AT ALL!
AGAIN im going to assume.. his words were taken out of context! or misconstrued! he is a simple jew with a shiur and no community bearing whatsoever within the chabad communication network… if i made that up so be it..
now on the lubavitcher rebbe’s ZY”A shita (lol) he was quoted as saying these 3 exact words הםפלגה החרדית ביותר – Hamiflagah hacharedit B’yoter which means the party which is the most charedit…
some people take that to mean a party like otzma liyisroel.. who is charedit biyoter on shleimus haaretz bikoach..
some will say BY biyoter charedit on shleimus haaretz bipoel
some could say likud shleimus ha’am haaretz “biyoter” bifoel [again I’M MAKING THIS ALL UP] OR in better english known as conjecture.

though lets be clear he also said in any event its A CHIYUV TO VOTE. bc any vote that is not voted is a vote stolen to the sitra achara…

As they say: Politics makes strange bed fellows. I was learning in Eretz Yisroel in the late 80’s when Rav Schach ZT”L founded Degel Hatorah. I remember the battles (sometimes literally) that took place between Degel and Agudah, which had Chabad with them originally. B”H, we’ve come full circle.

R. Chaim Sholem Deutch is one of the greatest of the Chabad rabbis in EY, still, most of Chabad are working people and go into the army. Their learning ends one year after the wedding.
My son who works at a Chabad yeshiva said Porush called up to complain that the Rosh Yeshiva has not come out in support of Gimel, indicating that moneys will not come if he does not say something positive about gimel. Could this be the case here?
Most Chabadniks that I have met are voting for Otzmah. Gimel and Porush are too much for them. Let us see if this call will make a difference.
