Baruch Hashem an agreement has been signed which is intended to bring an end to the conflict between two life-saving organizations, Ichud (United) Hatzalah and Hatzalah Gush Dan. The cooperation agreement was reached as a result of the efforts of Rav Chananya Chulik (צ’ולק) and Ichud Hatzalah President Eli Beer.

The agreement details the operating protocol between the two organizations in the hope of bringing an end to any and all conflict at the scene of an emergency call. In the event there is a dispute or misunderstanding, the rav will act as the mediator when the case is brought before him and his ruling will be final.

One can only hope that the good intentions of the volunteers will rise above the history of conflict between the two organizations for the sake of those in need and that their combined efforts will bring improved patient care to the tzibur at large.
