This collection of pictures is not worth the paper it’s printed on. You could take the same pictures any day in Williamsburg. Why not run pictures of people at Nassau Coliseum in the early 80’s in late May? The guys with beards would be hockey players.
@Huju My rabbanim disagree starkly with the concept of this rally, but your disrespect is misguided.
To put it into perspective, many of the “Mercaz Harav” and “Ateret Kohanim” musmachim learn Satmar torah all of the time. I once asked a friend who is a Ram in one of these yeshivos why he is always learning from the Satmar Rebbe, through he is strongly pro-medinah. He answered that Satmar and Rav Kook are two sides of the same coin. Both agree that Hakamat Hamedinah was a world changing event in Jewish history. Both agree that this is an event that should shape our hashkafos. Both agree that torah is the ikkar. This isn’t to say that people need to agree on everything or that the Dati Leumi crowd would support this rally. Just that we should maintain a level of civility in our discussions, and remember that we are playing for the same team.
