The Movement Party leader Tzipi Livni did not waste time, commenting on the Bloomberg column written by Jeffrey Goldberg. In his column, US President Barak Obama takes a serious swipe at Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, a move supporters of the prime minister feel was intentionally timed as general elections are a week off.
The column appeared a week ahead of national elections in Israel, and Livni used the column to signal the current administration is alienating Israel’s most important ally.

Wake up call, but not in the way she intends. The US has no strategic interests in the middle east. The cold war is ancient history. The US has energy self-sufficiency, and will shortly be exporting (meaning a disruption of Arab oil will help, not hurt, our economy). Israel has to be able to survive on its own, which may prove impossible given its own shattered social situation, and the inability to either find a way to live in peace with the Muslim or defeat them. Of course, we on YWN would suggest the Israelis should trust Ha-Shem, rather than Obama, the IDF or themselves – but to most Israelis, that’s heresey.
what did he say?
Dear Tzippi: President Obama’s remarks are not a wake up call. They are the remarks of a medrasa brainwashed, Jew hating Muslim. Wake up and smell the coffee: He hates you too.
I think that everyone is missing the point.
First and foremost Tzippy Livni will use anything to promote her doomed party.
Second..President Obama’s remarks are a wake up call for anyone still sleeping. They are the first shots in a broader strategy. With Kerry and Hagel in charge and Obama not having to ever face voters again, the true Obama (remember Rev Wright) will slowly but surely make its public debut. Even Ed Koch (who ended up supporting Obama) publicy stated when Hagel was nominated that he was surprised. Why? He expected Obama to renege on his support for Israel…BUT NOT SO SOON!!!!
Surely is a WAKE UP CALL to distance yourself from Livni, Olmert and Barak.
