A suspect in the assault case against HaPeles editor-in-chief Nati Grossman who was under house arrest remains under court restrictions. Amid accusations that the suspect interfered with the ongoing police investigation, the Jerusalem District Court ordered his continued house arrest.
The court on Monday, 3 Shevat 5773 ordered the Ponevezh Yeshiva talmid to remain under house arrest to prevent him from sabotaging police efforts in the case. It appears the young man changed his haircut and shirt to confuse police, viewed as interfering in the case. It is also alleged that he has been in contact with co-defendants in the case despite the terms of release prohibiting contact between them.
