Hundreds of participants attended a Monday night the eve of 4 Shevat 5773 emergency election kinos in Elad. The kinos was advertised for the chassidish kehilla, held in the city’s main Vishnitz Beit Medrash.

Senior Agudas Yisrael official and Yahadut Hatorah Knesset hopeful, R’ Meir Porush was on hand alongside Deputy Education Minister R’ Menachem Eliezer Moses. Admorim and rabbonim from Elad were also present.

The spoke of the less than optimistic election polls, calling on the tzibur to get out and vote, for each and every person to persuade friends and family to do the same. R’ Moses spoke of the “unprecedented” hate campaign against the chareidi tzibur today and the need for a strong Knesset representation to address the burning issues facing the community.

Some of the rabbonim spoke of the current reality in which opponents of the chareidi tzibur wish to “uproot” their very existence and next week’s election is indeed critical.
