Minister of the Interior Eli Yishai on Thursday, 28 Teves 5773 ordered setting up a situation room to remain in direct contact with municipalities hit by the storm. Yishai stated “the municipalities will not have to go it alone” Yishai told the press, committing to assisting them in recovering from the flooding and damage caused by the storm.

He promised budgetary aid for those municipalities in need. He made the comments on the way to Kfar Yonah and Hadera to assess the damage in those areas.
