Akko resident Daniel Fahima was the most seriously injured victim in the July 2012 terror attack in Burgos, Bulgaria. B’chasdei Hashem, Daniel was released from the hospital after over a half year of treatments.

Fahima was released from Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv on Thursday morning 28 Teves 5773. The 26-year-old Fahima walked out of the hospital, with his father Maxim telling reporters “they said there is only a 20% chance that he will survive and now look, he is standing on his own two feet. He will add much light to our home. We are full of thanks and praise for the medical team. We saw many people who give their entire neshama to help others. Angel is the word I would use to describe this special group of people.”

Five Israelis were murdered HY”D in the attack along with one local national.
