The Ministry of Transportation has given its approval for bus service to connect Elad and Beit Shemesh. Deputy Director-General of the Transportation Ministry Dror Gonen signed the necessary documents with Elad Deputy Mayor Yisrael Porush, the daily HaMevaser reports.
Superbus will operate the new line, which is the result of intensive efforts and meetings with ministry officials by Porush.
For the time begin there will be limited service and ministry officials indicate they are willing to increase the number of buses in line with the demand.
Rav Porush explains that in light of the work over recent years, and the addition of the latest line, Elad is now connected to other major chareidi communities in Israel.
