In his remarks launching the second day of the 10th Jerusalem Conference, MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh) did not surprise as he painted a most optimistic election outcome for the Bayit HaYehudi Party. He is confident the party will reach 20 seats in the 19th Knesset.
For Katz it is simple, telling the conference participants “B’ezrat Hashem, we will continue to grow because of the achdut”, explaining the dati leumi community nationwide will stand with Bayit HaYehudi, which has taken bold steps towards unity ahead of the general elections.
He reminded the audience that he used every platform made available to him to sound the cry of unity, and now that the 15 seats appears realistic, he feels the call must be changed to 20, for he believes this too is doable.
It was back in October 2012 that Katz announced that he is confident that his tzibur will do the correct thing, and he moved himself from the top of the list to the 13th slot, sending a message to voters and potential voters. According to all polls, Bayit HaYehudi has passed the 13 number and is heading upwards towards 16 or higher.
