Poll: Likud/Beitenu and Labor are Down – Bennett Continues to Climb

While he is under attack from the right and the left, Naftali Bennett and his Bayit HaYehudi party continue to gain in the polls.

With less than three weeks to the elections, the Bayit HaYehudi climb in the polls continues as Likud/Beitenu continues to lose ground and this time, Labor is also in a downward spiral. According to a Haaretz poll, Likud is down to 34 seats, one less seat from the last poll, and five less seats than a poll a month ago. Interestingly, officials from both parties, Likud and Yisrael Beitenu blame the other for the waning popularity, insisting they would have done better running independent of one another.

Labor is down by a seat, from 17 in the last poll to 16 at present, with Naftali Bennett holding at 14 seats, slowly moving in to become the second largest party in the 19th Knesset.

If elections were held at present, the right-wing bloc would have 67 seats according to the Dialogue Poll conducted by Prof. Camil Fuchs. The left-wing bloc would have 53 seats.
