Mrs. Nechama Mazel’s mobile phone was stolen on Tuesday 19 Teves 5773 while she was in a Jerusalem shopping center. Mrs. Mazel is the bureau chief to Harel Locker, the director-general of the Prime Minister’s Office and as such, the phone contains classified phone numbers of many senior government officials.
Mazel was shopping in the Ramot Shopping Center when her phone was taken. She filed a complaint with police. Officials in the Prime Minister’s Office declined comment.

Yeah, but we live in times that the phone can be locked if it’s stolen. Her phone probably has a self-destruct function which they probably activated immediately.
I am sure they password protect the phone and can remote wipe it if necessary. They can probably even trace the phone based on its gps and catch the ganuv
