Israel Police reports that in November 2011, there were 906 vehicular accidents with injuries in Israel, including Yehuda and Shomron. This includes 24 accidents that included fatalities and 91 accidents with serious injuries. A total of 1,569 people were injured in the accidents, including 25 deaths and 99 seriously injured victims.
In November 2012, there were a total of 871 accidents with injuries, but this number does not include Yehuda and Shomron as it did in the 2011 report, including 23 accidents that included fatalities and 80 accidents resulting in serious injuries. A total of 1,510 people were injured in the accidents, including 24 deaths and 87 seriously injured victims.
Interestingly, Israel Police reports a decline in accident and injuries in 2012, but fails to explain the statistics pertain to different area, with one including Yehuda and Shomron and the latter, 2012, excluding those areas.
