An uplifting Chanukah celebration was held Thursday night at the residence of the UK Prime Minister David Cameron joined by MP’S and Jewish leaders from the orthodox and non-Orthodox communities. Among the guests were Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Rabbi Hershel Gluck, and Jewish community advocate Osher Schapiro of Stamford Hill.
The event started with some speeches including the prime minister, followed by the lighting of the menorah and then followed by a (kosher) buffet lunch. The prime minister’s speech showed a rock solid support for Israel and a strong support message for the Jews in and around London.

I can’t iagine the cuisine being anything but lousy. They probably served fish and chips wrapped in newspaper, bread with Marmite, and crumpets with Marmolade. Yuck the British cuisine is probably the worst in the world
