70 Percent of Russian Immigrants Support Likud Beitenu List


Things are looking good for the join Likud/Yisrael Beitenu list, especially in the Russian speaking community where 70% are voting for the joint list. The poll refers to persons who made aliyah from the former Soviet Union after 1989. This week’s poll is up from a similar poll two weeks ago that showed support at 68%.

Tzipi Livni’s The Movement Party holds second place with 8%, down from 9% two weeks ago, followed by Bayit HaYehudi with 7%. Fourth place among the Russian speakers goes to the Labor Party with 6%.

80% of the respondents feel the decision to indict Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is politically motivated, and they added the resignation of the foreign minister will not compel them to change their vote.
