Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on motzei shabbos the eve of 3 Teves 5773 visited the Kosel to take part in the candle lighting for the final night of Chanukah.
He used the event to release the following statement to the media pertaining to the status of the Kosel and future talks with the PA (Palestinian Authority).
“In recent days, I have heard that the Palestinians are saying that the Western Wall is occupied territory. I want to tell them from the closet possible place to the miracle of the jar of oil: The Western Wall has been ours for 3,000 years, and it and the State of Israel will be ours forever.”

“A gezunt em in kup”, it’s about time that Israel stop beating around the bush, and take a firm stand. There is absolutely no historical legitimacy for a Palestinian state. In addition what other nation has ever been asked to give up territory that is historically been theirs????
And if they were asked what nation ever complied with such a request???
Also, what nation has ever returned land for which they fought and won???
And many years later at that???
Maybe its time for Great Britain to reclaim the United States, which originally were its colonies????
How would our President react to the pressure of such a demand???
Such a demand would have more legitimacy than that of the Palestinians.
and it does belong to Israel and it should belong to Israel forever. God gave them the land as their inheritance and He doesn’t go back on His word.
