On Monday, 19 Kislev 5773, a group of Jews entered a five-story building in the Jabil Mukhaber neighborhood of the capital, posting sentries at the door after showing police documents to prove they purchased the building and therefore they are legally entitled to enter. The move is part of the ongoing effort of the Elad NGO Israel Radio reported, whose leaders work tirelessly to redeem areas of Eretz HaKodesh from Arab occupation. INN reports Elad officials deny they are behind this operation.

According to Israel Radio, an Arab family lives on the fifth floor of the building, the rest of which is vacant.
