At a dinner of Mosdos Vishnitz in the Ramat Gan Hadar D’Mall Hall, the Vishnitzer Rebbe Shlita came out in strong certain terms in support of Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, praising Litzman for his willingness to help any yid.

Litzman was present at the event, along with R’ Yisrael Eichler as a representative of the Belzer Rebbe Shlita. As Yahadut HaTorah works to set the party’s list for the election, the Belzer Rebbe decided not to get into an argument and agreed to give up the fifth spot on the Yahadut HaTorah list, acquiescing to Vishnitz, agreeing the Belze shaliach will settle for the sixth slot.

Yahadut HaTorah is made up of both the litvish faction, represented by Degel HaTorah and the chassidic faction, represented by Agudas Yisrael. Each faction also has sub-factions, leading to a less than simple process in attempting to set the party’s list for the upcoming election.
