Speaking on Channel 10 News morning magazine program on Wednesday 29 Cheshvan 5773, Minister of Transportation (Likud) Yisrael Katz addressed a number of current event issues, including this week’s rocket attacks into southern Israel.
Katz feels that the methodology explained this week by former National Security Advisor Giora Eiland is the way to go, stating a stranglehold must be placed on Gaza until such time they beg to come up for air.
The minister explained that Israel must halt all services, without exception, including water, electricity and passage to Gaza, and the leaders of the Hamas terrorist entity will have to turn to Egypt and the Arab nations for assistance as it chokes for basic amenities. Katz agrees with Eiland, highlighting the absurdity of a situation that Israel continues to supply Hamas with all its basic needs and infrastructure while the rockets continue to fall in southern civilian population centers.
