A woman caught on camera driving on a sidewalk to avoid a Cleveland school bus that was unloading children is expected to stand at an intersection with a sign warning people about idiots.
A Cleveland Municipal Court judge has ordered 32-year-old Shena Hardin to bear the sign beginning Tuesday, the first of two days in her sentence. She will have to carry a sign saying: “Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus.”
The judge ordered her to appear with the sign from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Hardin’s license was suspended for 30 days and she was ordered to pay $250 in court costs.

Creative & effective. So many crimes could be punished without a burden on the taxpayer if judges used a little ingenuity. My guess is, this will be a real deterrent to other…idiots.
Sorry to say lady but this story is hilarious! 🙂
What a great idea. I wish they would implement that rule, here in New York affective immediately. Of course the wicked ACLU would never allow it, but it is wishful thinking.
Why isn’t there a LIKE button here?!
I like it… but would think that an offense that serious should warrant some real jail time and more than a 30 day suspension of her license. Her license should have been revoked.
I love it
What kind of car was she driving??
