B’chasdei Hashem the number of people injured in rocket attacks since motzei shabbos until 14:30 on Sunday, 26 Cheshvan 5773 can be counted on both hands and their injuries as listed as light. Baruch Hashem there is no loss of life.

There are undoubtedly many residents suffering from hysteria and there is property damage to vehicles, homes and businesses as no less than 70 mortar shells, kassam rockets and katyusha rockets came over the border of Gaza into areas of southern Israel. A number of rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome system as they were headed to Beersheva. Most of the rockets landed in open uninhabited areas.

Residents of areas in rocket range remain near shelters as the communities close to the border only have 15 seconds to find cover before a rocket impacts.
