New Mikva in Har Nof, Yerushalayim

The new mikva that was constructed in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood was a project that began about a decade ago. This week, the project was completed and the opening of the new mikva is just days away.

The neighborhood is desperately in need of the mikva and those involved in the project are proud to explain that it is more than just a standard mikva, but one that cost 14.5 million NIS, on a standard fitting for such a community.

Jerusalem City Councilman Asher Mishaeli reports that next on his agenda is a new mikva in Maale Zeitim, the budding community near Har HaZeisim for there the residents are compelled to travel to Jerusalem’s Old City for to toivel.
