Orange, a leader in the chareidi cellular community, is offering a deal for customers who telephone people outside of Israel. Those subscribers on the Orange Unlimited plan may now add a 15 NIS monthly fee for unlimited calls to 42 destinations around the world, including the United States and Canada.
Pelephone, which also maintains a foothold in the chareidi marketplace, is offering new phones for the kosher market, presenting the Nokia C2, which is compatible with the companies’ high speed GSM network.
Pelephone officials’ report the sound quality on this model is far superior to anything offered in the past, adding it has a two inch screen with high resolution, compatible with Bluetooth, equipped with a Hebrew calendar, chassidic ringtones and more. Anyone signing up for the new phone on the kosher Unlimited Plan will receive a 20 NIS monthly rebate for one year.
