To mark the first Yartzheit of the Torah luminary and sage HaGaon HaRav Moshe Shapiro ZT”L, there will be a Hesped held in Flatbush on Sunday afternoon.

Rav Shaprio, was the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Pischei Olam in Eretz Yisroel, mecheber seforim, and one of the biggest Baalei Musar and Machshava in our generation. He disseminated Torah to thousands of talmidim for more than 50 years.

The Hesped will be held at K’hal Kol Torah on Avenue M and East 21 Street.

Divrei hesped will be delivered by the Novamisker Rebbe, Hagaon HaRav Elya Brudny, Hagaon HaRav Lipa Geldwirth, Hagaon HaRav Aryeh Feldman (son-in-law of Rav Shapiro), and Hagaon HaRav Avraham Shapiro (son of Rav Moshe Shapiro).

Mincha will be at 4:15, followed by the Hespediam at 4:40PM. Maariv will follow at 6:15PM.
