PM Netanyahu Works to Drum Up Support for Attack Against Iran

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was interviewed by the French Paris Match Magazine, using the forum to enlist support for a possible Israeli attack against Iran.

“Five minutes after, contrary to what the skeptics say I think a feeling of relief would spread across the region,” he said.

The prime minister feels that Iran in unpopular in the Arab world, and an Israeli attack that would neutralize the Iranian nuclear threat would be beneficial to the Arab nations as well as Israel.

“Iran is not popular in the Arab world, far from it, and some governments in the region as well as their citizens have understood that a nuclear Iran would be dangerous for them and not just Israel.”

Israel has been stating that while Arab nations outwardly oppose and attack, there are many among them that would be relieved with such an eventuality since they understand just how dangerous a nuclear Iran would be and how such a reality would significantly destabilize the region.

As was reported by YWN-ISRAEL, the prime minister is visiting France where he will meet with state officials and leaders of the Jewish community, planning a stopover in Toulouse, the site of this year’s fatal terrorist attack at the Otzar HaTorah School.
