MK Rabbi Chaim Amsellem, who broke away from Shas to launch his party continues to bash Shas, with his latest comments coming during an interview with Channel 2 News.
Amsellem called Shas “the outstretched arm of the Ashkenazi world, primarily the litvish faction… as soon as I decided to begin speaking the emmes I realized I was marked for elimination…once I became a significant person, I became a threat. One leaves Shas in one of two ways, either to prison or to one’s own party.”
Shas officials refuse to comment.

why does ywn keep on putting up Amsallem’s shtus on their site?
i am not sure why YWN even gives this a man a platform to express his views.
he has openly spoken against the Gedolim, Ashkenazim and Sephardim,
he has openly paskend controvesial rules
he has a problem with anyone who consideres himself orthodox
he should be put on the backburner and hopefully we will not hear of him after the elections when the electorate will show him the direction he should be taking
Amsellem is a rasha who has attacked and disobeyed Hagaon Ovadia Yosef shlita, the very godol who put Amsellem on the map and gave him his position.
