Two katyusha rockets landed in open areas in the Beersheva district at about 05:30 Sunday morning 12 Cheshvan 5773. B’chasdei Hashem there were no reports of injuries.
Additional rocket attacks took place during the night in the Eshkol Regional Council district. Once again, there were no injuries. The air force targeted terrorists in Gaza in at least two sorties, resulting in the elimination of terrorists preparing to fire additional rockets.
Schools in the southern capital are closed today as a result. Beersheva University is planning to hold classes.

The Popular Resistance Front claims responsibility for firing rockets into Beersheva earlier today, stating the rockets were retaliatory attacks for IAF sorties in Gaza during the night.
