Jerusalem police are continuing the investigation into last week’s fire in the Zvill simcha hall in the capital, which resulted in significant damage. The fire broke out during the afternoon hours, in a kitchen. B’chasdei Hashem there were no injuries.
Fire inspectors found signs of arson and they now feel an Arab kitchen worker who was fired may have started the blaze.
As a result of the fire many simchas scheduled to be held in the hall will have to move to another venue. Those who had a simcha that day received a refund. The operators are working hard to have the hall refurbished as quickly as possible.
