A bus and a private vehicle collided during the night in the Gan Sakharov area, near the entrance to the capital from Highway 1, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway.

Five members of one family seated in the private vehicle were injured, including a 10-year-old with a serious head injury and three others listed in moderate condition. The bus driver and others were also injured lightly.

Ichud Hatzalah and MDA operated at the scene. Five victims were transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital while others were taken to Shaare Zedek Medical and Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital.
