The following statement was just released by Kings County District Attorney Charles J. Hynes, in regards to Ehud Halevy, who was facing charges of resisitng arrest: “After review of all available evidence I have decided to dismiss the charges against Ehud Halevy.”
The video, posted online last week, shows Officer Vega punching the head and body of Ehud Halevy, 21, and another officer from the 71st Precinct, Yelena Bruzzese, battering Mr. Halevy with a baton for more than two minutes last week as he tries to fend off the blows.
