Hamas in Gaza Celebrates 1st Anniversary of Shalit Deal


Hamas terrorists in Gaza held a parade on Thursday, marking the first anniversary since the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal which resulting in Israel’s release of 1,027 terrorists.

The organizers praised the deal and vowed in future prison exchange deals; those terrorists who were not released in the last deal due to Israel’s refusal would be released.

Carrying poster-sized photos of the terrorists, event organizers explained that Israel refused due to the nature of their actions but in the future, such refusal will not be honored, vowing to abduct additional Israelis to use as negotiating pawns to obtain the release of the terrorists.

  1. The fact that they’re celebrating shows what a terrible deal it was. Just as the fact that Egypt celebrates the anniversary of the Yom Kippur War every year shows that it was a victory for them.
