Subway, bus and commuter train riders can comment on the MTA’s fare-hike proposals without attending one of the authority’s public hearings, officials announced Tuesday.

Instead, riders can speak — or scream — into a video camera the Metropolitan Transportation Authority will set up at four locations: a lower Manhattan office building, a Metro-North Railroad station and two Long Island Rail Road stops.

Footage and transcripts from these “video conference hearings” will be made available to members of the board, which votes on a final budget and fare scheme in December, the authority said.

“This is part of our unprecedented public outreach to hear what people think of these fare proposals and what suggestions they have,” MTA spokesman Adam Lisberg said.

The Daily News reported Tuesday the MTA will unveil four proposals for bus and subway riders next month. Two would keep the base fare steady at $2.25 while two would raise the fare a quarter to $2.50.
