A group of 50 Syrians, some armed, were detected close to the border to Israel in the Golan Heights on Wednesday afternoon 17 Tishrei 5773. It was apparent they were not attempting to cross into Israel, but nevertheless the decision was made to close the area to visitors and those present were cleared.
Israeli officials believe it may have been a group of revolutionary fighters seeking to hide from government forces. The members of the group were wearing uniforms when they came as close as 500 meters from the border. Northern Command officials decided to play it safe and cleared the area of civilians, including the closing of the Mount Hermon approach road.
In another related matter, Chief of Military Intelligence Major-General Aviv Kochavi toured the Syrian border area on Wednesday, predicting the area will become one with a weakened state of rule as we are seeing now.

I believe the last time they allowed spectators at a war was at the battle of “Bull Run” in the American Civil War in 1861 – after that they decided the wars are not spectator sports.
Israel’s biggest problems are not on the other side of the border or in Iran, it is within its 5th column so called “Israeli Arabs” that are anti the state. Real Zionim should get rid of them before bombing Iran.
#1: Except for modern warfare’s ultimate spectators – the media.
