What was first referred to as a “hit and run” incident near N’vei Daniel in Gush Etzion but authorities admit it is looking more and more like a terror attack.

The driver who fled the scene was apprehended and as the investigation proceeds, Shai District police are beginning to believe the hit and run was a terror attack, in line with testimony from one of the soldiers who was hospitalized. Shortly after his arrival in Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim he told investigators it appeared the Arab taxi driver rammed them intentionally but police were quick to discard his testimony and declare the incident a hit and run.
