Rainfall was reported in many cities around Eretz Yisrael on shabbos. Thundershowers were reported in some Golan Heights areas and unfortunately, the forecast for Sunday, erev Sukkos calls for showers in Yerushalayim. Making things worse, the forecast for Monday the first day of yomtov calls for thundershowers in the capital and rain in many other areas around the country. The longer term forecast calls for thundershowers on Thursday chol hamoed as well.
There are reports of many Sukkos that were damaged by strong winds on shabbos, a most abnormal weather occurrence in Eretz Yisrael on the days preceding Sukkos.
