Chilul Kevarim S. of Prague

Dozens of tombstones were vandalized and destroyed in a Jewish cemetery south of Prague. Police made the announcement on Yom Kippur, adding it does not appear the attack itself occurred on Yom Kippur, but most likely the damage was done leading up to yomtov. According to a Ladaat.net report, there are 150 matzeivos in the beis hachaim that was attacked.

The cemetery is no longer used for kvura since it is full and this is why the time of the attack cannot be pinpointed, but it does appear authorities are confident the incident did not occur on Yom Kippur.
