A hotline number will also be operating ahead of Yom Kippur under the auspices of the beis din of HaGaon HaRav Nissim Karelitz Shlita. Responding to shaylos will be HaGaon HaRav Shriel Rosenberg Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Shevach Tzvi Rosenblatt. The rabbonim will be conferring with senior physicians when necessary, the daily HaMevaser reports.

The rabbonim shlita stress that anyone with medical issues must consult with a rav ahead of the fast day and not to wait until the hours before the fast begins or on Yom Kippur itself.
