Today, Monday 8 Tishrei 5773 the Maccabi HMO is hosting its pre-Yom Kippur halachic hotline for members wishing to speak with physicians and rabbonim ahead of the fast day.

Rabbonim who will be ruling on caller’s questions include HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Dovid HaCohen Gross (Rav Chassidei Gur and Badatz Ashdod), HaGaon HaRav Moshe Schlesinger (Director of Pri Chaim), HaGaon HaRav Moshe Pinchos Zandar (Rav of Central Tel Aviv & דומ”ץ [Dayan Moreh Tzedek] of the Shevet Halevy’s Badatz), HaGaon HaRav Yehuda Leib Shwadron (Rav Kehillos Meromei Sadeh & דומ”ץ [Dayan Moreh Tzedek] Modi’in Illit), along with other prominent poskim.

Physicians responding with the rabbonim include Prof. Entebbe (Head of OB/GYN Beilinson Medical Center), Dr. Chantzin (OB/GYN), Dr. Itzkowitz (pediatrician), and others.
