An audit released Wednesday says last year’s Port Authority toll increases were necessary to fund critical transportation projects and they must raise them again. The independent audit was ordered by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Gov. Chris Christie as a condition of toll increases they approved last year. The increases impact several busy spots, including the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels.
The Port Authority is also appealing a judge’s decision to release a study reportedly showing toll hikes are, in part, responsible for lost business at the New York Container Terminal on Staten Island.

Hey, maybe they can get a grant from the Dept. of Labor-they are rolling in dough & gave a $13 million grant to PERU!
Next time you see one of our elected officials, tell them if they don’t listen to us when the tolls and taxes increase, they WILL hear from us at election day,.
