According to prominent Sephardi posek HaRav Bentzion Mutsafi Shlita, who was interviewed on the inyan of tens of thousands of mispallalim traveling to Uman for Rosh Hashanah, this represents yeridas hadoros (ירידת הדורות).
The rav explained the trend “must be stopped immediately”, explaining he feels “people are seeking an attraction in place of remaining in Eretz HaKodesh. Some of the baalei tshuva simply don’t know their place, and they are forced to follow the chareidi tzibur who go to Uman.
The rav feels Yidden in Eretz Yisrael should remain here at home and be mispallel instead of traveling to Uman.

I agree with the Rav. This is definitely a yerida when thousands abandon Eretz HaKodesh to pray in Chutz L’aretz. But what can be done? Probably nothing.
Rachmana Litslan…..gevalt………whoever he is SHOULD be more than informed about what is written in the seforim about the inyan of traveling to the tsiyen for Rosh Hashana. This must be a false report……
The problem is not only uman but many hasidim leave israel to come to ny to be with their rebbe like chabad for example.
Besides abandoning eretz yisroel, yidden are flooding anti-semitic Ukraine with endless tourist dollars! Why are we helping our grandparent’s murderers?
HoRav, what you said is just not right. Loshen Hara right before Rosh Hashnah?
Besides they aren’t going to visit the Rebbe, they are simply going to visit family and its not all of them leaving for a pilgrimage. Majority of Lubavitch knows the Rebbe has passed on.
If this is true, then I ask a mehila
